Case Study Archives: Bausch & Lomb chooses Brand Ensemble

Spurs brand guidelines usage

Bausch & Lomb, a multibillion-dollar eye health corporation with nearly 14,000 employees worldwide, had completed a major brand refresh, but users found the online guidelines documentation difficult to navigate.
Bausch & Lomb enlisted BrandLogic to devise a user-centric approach that would engage employees and be easy to administer. The BrandLogic team completely redesigned the intranet user interface, and simplified the presentation of guidelines and identity assets.
The new site utilizes BrandLogic’s Brand Ensemble™ platform, an innovative, .NET-based content delivery system solution that includes robust content management, automated e-mail notification, download management, and a relational structure for linking frequently asked questions and gallery examples to specific applications.
The new site enables Bausch & Lomb employees and vendors to access critical guidance they previously hadn’t known existed. The redesigned site uses proven techniques to deliver timely communication, build community, ease content management, and track asset usage.
Since deployment, Bausch & Lomb managers have taken firm control of the brand site. They are rapidly establishing a robust global employee and agency community to more closely manage and build the brand.
