Columbia/BrandLogic Win Big Apple Award
BrandLogic was chosen as the category winner by the Big Apple Awards program for the physician’s resource brochure designed for Columbia University Department of Surgery.
The Big Apple Awards program is sponsored by the New York Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). It recognizes communications professionals who have achieved a certain standard of excellence in their fields. According to the PRSA, “Superior communications problems solve problems, change opinions and create opportunities.”
BrandLogic designer Paula Snyder, 25, was honored at the annual awards luncheon held last week at the Tavern on the Green in New York City.
“As a designer, the biggest challenge was to integrate artwork, photography and graphic clips from actual surgical procedures in a way that was elegant and informative,” said Snyder.
“The success of this piece is measured by the large number of telephone calls we are receiving from physicians around the country,” said the Director, Marketing and Outreach at Columbia University, Department of Surgery.
