Brandlogic CEO Hampton Bridwell at Conference Board event on corporate citizenship in Washington, D.C.

Presenting key findings from the just-released Sustainability Leadership Report, a landmark study of corporate performance on sustainability

Wilton, Conn. (June 9, 2011) – Hampton Bridwell, CEO and Managing Partner of Brandlogic, a leading brand consultancy, will be joining a panel discussion at the Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability Conference, held by The Conference Board in Washington, D.C., June 9 and 10, 2011.

On Friday, June 10, Mr. Bridwell will present the key findings from the “Sustainability Leadership Report: Measuring Perception vs. Reality,” a landmark study just released by Brandlogic and CRD Analytics, the leading independent sustainability analytics firm. The Sustainability Leadership Report is a quantitative analysis of actual vs. perceived performance around environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors for 100 leading companies. The information in the report comes from two sources. Brandlogic conducted a global research study in early 2011 to gather perceptual data, interviewing 2,400 individuals who are highly attentive to sustainability issues: supply chain managers, investment professionals and graduating college and university students. The research study was conducted in six countries: the U.S., UK, Germany, Japan, India and China. CRD Analytics’ SmartView™ platform was used to generate the actual performance data, using quantitative and qualitative data from 175 performance metrics and five key performance indicators within each ESG area.

Mr. Bridwell and his colleagues at Brandlogic advise corporations on how to create branding and communications programs that deal with sustainability issues. “Ready or not, sustainability is an important component of corporate reputation and audiences are constantly forming opinions about corporate behavior in this arena.
