University identity awarded Gold

The St. John’s University branding and identity program, created by Brandlogic, recently won six awards for excellence in marketing communications from the Admissions Marketing Report, a national journal for academic and educational marketers. The competition had 2,200 entries judged for creative design, content, appeal and overall impact. St. John’s University awards included: Gold (top honors) – Best Viewbook; three Silver Awards – Total undergraduate recruitment package; Bronze – brochures; and Merit – Internet/Web site.

According to St. John’s vice president of Marketing and Communications, “Even though the program is in its early stages, we’re seeing very positive results. Having worked with Brandlogic in the past, I’ve seen the tremendous impact that a unified branding effort can have, both inside and outside the organization. This just goes to show that the importance of building brand equity and sustainability is just as important in academia as it is in business.”
