DMI features Texaco Brand Community

The Design Management Institute (DMI) featured the Brandlogic-created Texaco Brand Community Web Tool in its publication for members. DMI is an education and research institute dedicated to demonstrating the strategic role of design in business and to improving the management and utilization of design. DMI assists managers, executives, consultants, and educators in their professional development through conferences, seminars, leading-edge publications, and a membership program.

The Texaco tool, a personalized Web portal, customized the company's brand guidelines to the specific needs of each individual user. For example, secretaries might see only stationery and PowerPoint® templates, while architects or ad agencies will view completely different material. The site also includes Olympic guidelines, as well as a multimedia presentation hosted by Mario Andretti that Brandlogic created to reinforce the importance of the Texaco brand as a corporate asset.
